Amazon order management and FBA automation platform
Delivered by Phenologix
Overview
This project involved the design and development of a centralized order management and inventory intelligence platform built to manage Amazon operations at scale. The system consolidates inventory, orders, shipments, vendor workflows, and predictive planning into a single control panel.
The platform enables operations, procurement, and leadership teams to manage multiple Amazon marketplaces from one dashboard while maintaining accuracy, speed, and governance across the entire fulfillment lifecycle.
Introduction
We integrated Amazon and multiple external suppliers using Amazon Marketplace Web Services (AMWS) as part of the automation process. The platform synchronizes data across suppliers and marketplaces to ensure consistent inventory and order management.
Multiple inventory automation services were deployed on AWS Cloud infrastructure, including Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, and S3. This cloud-based architecture enables scalable processing, high availability, and secure handling of operational data across regions.

Business challenge
Managing Amazon operations across regions introduced operational complexity and inefficiencies. Inventory data, order processing, vendor coordination, and shipment planning were fragmented across tools and manual workflows.
Key challenges included:
• Disconnected inventory and order visibility across marketplaces
• Manual FBA planning with limited forecasting accuracy
• Difficulty managing SKU-level performance and stock coverage
• Inefficient vendor quotation and approval workflows
• Limited insight into shipment readiness and fulfillment status
The client needed a single system to centralize Amazon operations, automate planning, and support data-driven decisions.
Solution delivered
Phenologix designed and built a secure, web-based Amazon order management platform that integrates inventory intelligence, FBA planning, vendor workflows, and shipment management into one system.
The solution was built with role-based access, scalable architecture, and operational dashboards designed for both daily execution and strategic oversight.

Core platform modules
Login and access control
The platform includes a secure authentication system with role-based access to ensure only authorized users can manage sensitive operational data. This protects procurement, inventory, and financial workflows.
Central dashboard and performance overview
A unified dashboard provides real-time visibility into revenue, profit, orders, and date-based performance metrics. This allows leadership and operations teams to monitor marketplace performance without switching tools.
Predictive FBA planning
The Predict FBA module uses historical sales data, inventory levels, and velocity trends to support proactive fulfillment planning across multiple regions.
Capabilities include:
• FBA planning for Canada and USA marketplaces
• Forecasting based on sales velocity and inventory cover days
• Visibility into future stock risks and replenishment requirements

SKU-level inventory analysis
The system provides detailed SKU-level insights, including:
• Inbound and available inventory
• Sales velocity and demand indicators
• FBA recommendations and planning status
• Tagging for restrictions, data matching, and compliance
This enables accurate, product-level decision-making.

Vendor quote and approval management
The platform includes a structured vendor quotation workflow to support procurement governance.
Key features include:
• Vendor quote submission and comparison
• Approval and rejection workflows
• Status tracking and audit visibility
• Alignment with purchasing and inventory planning

Shipment and fulfillment management
The shipment module provides end-to-end visibility into FBA execution.
Capabilities include:
• Shipment tracking by country and FBA ID
• Unit-level shipment counts
• Status monitoring from creation to completion

Results and impact
The platform delivered measurable operational improvements:
• Centralized control of Amazon operations across regions
• Improved inventory planning through predictive analytics
• Faster and more accurate FBA decisions
• Reduced manual effort in procurement and vendor coordination
• Clear visibility into shipments, inventory health, and SKU performance
The system is live and actively supporting daily Amazon operations at scale.

Why this solution worked
This project succeeded because Phenologix combined strong backend engineering with deep operational understanding of Amazon workflows. By aligning automation with real business needs, the platform delivers both execution efficiency and strategic insight.
The result is a scalable, enterprise-grade system that simplifies complexity and enables confident decision-making across marketplace operations.
